Alexander Hamilton served as an aggressive political philosopher of the enlightenment. He was of great influence with the creation of the American, political and economical institutions and policies in the early republic. Alexander grew up with one goal in his mind, establishing a centralized economy, and many different ideas. The outbreak of the American Revolution offered Hamilton the opportunity he was waiting for. In 1776 he became captain of a artillery company, and a year later worked along George Washington. Alexander played no role in important military decisions his role was of great importance and became one of Washington's most trusted advisors. At the beginning of 1781, Hamilton resigned. He wanted to join the military when Washington gave him command of a battalion of light infantry in the Marquis delafayette's corpse.
