Sir Isaac Newton was born on a Christmas day, 25 December of 1642. In the west of England in a town called Grantham. His father had died three months before he was born. However, when Newton was three his mother remarried and went to live alone with her new husband and left Newton alone. His grandmother took care of him, Newton disliked his new father and stayed with his grandmother. At about the age of 12 until 17, Newton started going to a school called The King's School which taught Math, Greek, and Latin. Although his mom tried to make him be a farmer, Newton hated farming and soon after that went back to The King's School to complete his education. Nevertheless, Newton was also the top ranked student in the school. At the age of 19, he went to Trinity College and studied mainly Kepler's work. At the age of 23, he developed a mathematical theory named Calculus with the help of Gottfried Leibniz. In 1665 the college temporarily closed due to the Great Plague, the Great Plague was a time when there was a very deadly and contagious disease that lasted about 18 months and killed about 100,000 people. However, Newton, studied alone at his home for two years and improved his knowledge in his calculus, and got interested and started devolving in The Law of Gravitation. Nevertheless, Trinity College reopened and on 1667 Newton came back to it. In the first months, when he returned, he got elected to be a "fellow of the Trinity"(officially ordered priests). However, he did not want to become a priest, which causes him massive problems and he put his education to the side until Charles II gave him a "special permission" so he does not have to be a priest and eventually continued his education.
